بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Na'im Sunday: As-salaamu ʿalaykum [peace be upon you].

My name is Na'im Sunday from Los Angeles, California, and family means everything to me.

On this earth it’s the most important thing in my life. It's the reason I sacrifice, struggle and toil each day in order to provide my family with the best life, means, and opportunity possible for their own success.

It's my duty.

I realize that my family is a blessing from Allah entrusted to me and only pray that I am doing my best to fulfill my obligation for this trust.

Allah has made the man to be the provider, maintainer and protector of women and children, and I accept that responsibility wholeheartedly.

As I live my life seeking the pleasure of Allah. I pray that I am being the best example possible for my children and a husband my wife can be proud of, which is no easy task if you know my wife and my children for that matter.

Nevertheless, I wouldn't trade them for the world, and only pray that Allah will resurrect us all on Yawm al-qiyāmah, the Day of Judgment with our scrolls in our right hands, so that we may, by the permission of Allah, live out our lives in the next life for eternity as a family in Jannah [Paradise].

As-salaamu ʿalaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh [peace and mercy and blessings of Allah be with you].
